Refund policy

Published: 23 October 2026

This policy covers downloadable digital products supplied by Timpani Beatz through Timpani Store, including Loop Kits, Free Loop Kits, Multi-Kits, samples, presets, sound libraries, audio plugins and other downloads when available. Section 5 covers our studio services. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights under the law applicable to your purchase or retrospectively reduces rights attached to an existing purchase.

1. Digital product sales

All digital product sales are final and non-refundable, except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law. We do not offer a voluntary money-back guarantee or change-of-mind refund period.

Subject to those mandatory rights, we do not provide voluntary refunds for:

  • Changing your mind, disliking the sounds, or not using the files.
  • Accidental purchases, choosing the wrong product, or buying the same product more than once through your own mistake.
  • Not reviewing product descriptions or software compatibility requirements that were clearly and accurately disclosed before purchase.

These reasons do not override a statutory cancellation right or a remedy for a defect, misleading description or other legally protected circumstance. Free downloads have no purchase price to refund; other applicable mandatory rights remain unaffected.

2. Download delivery and technical problems

Downloads are supplied electronically through Fileflare, with links sent to the checkout email following successful payment or completion of a free checkout.

For a missing email, broken link, corrupted archive, incorrect delivered product or delivery failure, contact us so we can investigate. Where appropriate, we will resend a link, restore access, supply a corrected file or the correct product, or provide technical assistance. Troubleshooting does not replace or delay a remedy required by law.

The current download limit is five per file, with no configured time-based expiry. This is not a promise of unlimited downloads or permanent file hosting. Download limits do not remove legally required access or remedies.

3. Problems requiring a legal remedy

Applicable law may require a remedy for non-delivery, materially defective content, content materially different from its description, incorrect or unauthorised charges, duplicate payment-processing errors, or other protected circumstances.

The remedy may be repair, replacement, a price reduction, a refund or another legally required solution. The appropriate remedy and any opportunity to correct a problem depend on applicable law; a full refund is not automatic for every report. A duplicate processing charge is different from mistakenly purchasing the same product twice.

4. EU and UK digital-content cancellation rights

Where EU or UK consumer distance-selling rules apply, the normal statutory cancellation period for downloadable digital content is 14 days from conclusion of the contract, subject to any mandatory extension.

We may rely on the exception for early digital supply only where the required legal conditions have been met: your prior express consent to supply during that period, your acknowledgement that the cancellation right will be lost when supply begins, and the required contract confirmation in a form you can retain, such as email.

Downloading alone, or merely accepting this policy, is not sufficient. If the required conditions have not been met, applicable cancellation and reimbursement rights remain available. Losing a change-of-mind cancellation right does not remove rights concerning defective or misdescribed content.

To exercise an applicable cancellation right, you may email a clear statement of your decision to cancel. A special form is not required to make that statement.

5. Mixing, mastering and custom production

We do not offer a voluntary satisfaction-based refund guarantee for Mixing & Mastering or Custom Music Production. Agreed revision commitments and mandatory service remedies remain available.

  • Before work begins: cancellation and repayment depend on applicable law and the written project terms agreed before booking. This policy does not automatically forfeit advance payments.
  • After work begins: only agreed, lawfully recoverable charges for work properly performed may be retained or requested. Where statutory early-performance rules apply, a proportionate charge requires the legally required information and express request to start early.
  • Substantially completed work: the same rules apply; substantial completion alone does not end a statutory cancellation right.
  • Fully performed and delivered work: we offer no voluntary refund merely for dissatisfaction. Any loss of a statutory cancellation right requires the legally required prior request or consent and acknowledgement of loss on full performance. Mandatory remedies remain unaffected.

Project-specific cancellation arrangements must be agreed in writing before booking. This policy creates no deposit, cancellation fee or fixed refund percentage.

6. Requests and payment processing

For a refund or delivery issue, email us with your order number, checkout email, product name and a description of the problem. Never send passwords, full payment-card numbers or financial credentials.

If a refund is due, we will arrange it without undue delay and within applicable legal deadlines, using the original payment method unless a lawful alternative is agreed. Confirmation that a refund is due, payment-provider processing, and receipt of funds are separate stages. PayPal or another provider's processing and your bank's posting times vary; we do not promise an exact arrival date.

Contacting us first is not a condition for exercising statutory rights, lawful payment-dispute rights or another available complaint channel.
